The Lego Advent Calendar is a holiday favorite tradition in our family. However this year it is a huge disappointment. The is definitely a lack of creativity. We are at day 12 and there are three days where we didnt build a lego. It was just a figure or character (dog, cat, baby). I expect to build something behind every pull tab. Not the case this year. Not worth money and it makes me sad....

I've been building the Lego City Advent Calendar every year for many years now and I must say this one is the worst ever. On at least one day (I haven't finished it yet), there's nothing to build, just a one-piece item. Things that were clearly meant to go together are split between different days, although they have very small part counts. I'm hugely disappointed. If this was my first time building the advent calendar, I definitely wouldn't buy it ever again.

A singular rabbit on day 15 left my child very disappointed and upset. Her brothers were getting all these really cool Lego Star Wars builds and she felt like it was very unfair. This toy is a rip off for the price compared to the other advent sets. There was next to no building. Also having one day as a baby and the next as its stroller was stupid. 1/10 would never have bought it if I had known it would disappoint my kid so much.

… that the items are so underwhelming. C’mon, a bunny today. A single item.
Looking at reviews of other calendars - Wish we’d gone with Friends. Their bunny had a ramp, bed & carrot. Their baby had a crib, now granted, ours had a Xmas jumper, but not much building putting its head on- and so on :(
Fingers crossed for the last week or so, but I’m not holding my breath . :(
